Spiderman Lives on After Halloween!

A Sleepy Hideaway for Jackson

Yesterday I went in to wake up Jackson and didn't see him in bed. I was confused and a bit nervous at first, but then I found him. He had tucked himself between the wall and the bed in the night. He had his pillow, blanket, and rocket and was fast asleep. We even had a hard time waking him up he was so comfy. In the picture you can see the edge of the bed and the wall with the curtains. We are not sure why he did this, but last night he wanted to do it again. Oh if we only understood the imaginations of three-year-olds!

Thank you Great Aunt Gail and Great Grandma Gail

This week Grammy Dotti brought over a belated birthday gift for Jackson from her sister and mom. Jackson got a Target gift card. We let him go and pick out his gifts. He had so much fun!!! He chose an alphabet airplane that goes on the fridge and says the sounds of all the letters. It also helps him make words. Mom and Dad may have led him down this path, but he loves it. He also got a Spider man punching bag. Again, he loves it!!! Here are some shots with his new toys.

Checking in on Grandma Dot After Knee Surgery

Uncle David and Uncle Jerry came to help take care of Grandma Dot last week and we went to say hi. We got hugs all around and Grandma seems to being doing much better.

Working Outside in November

Last weekend we spent a bunch of time outside prepping for winter. Jackson decided to ham it up again. Shaun trimmed our biggest tree so he could finish cleaning the gutters and my mom and I painted the trim around our new windows. It was a beautiful weekend full of sunshine and accomplishment. We made it just in time for winter to set in!

A Visit with the Zeebs

Ryan, Kristin, Alexa, and JD came over for dinner the other night. We hung out and let the kids play while we tried to catch up a bit. We miss the Zeebs since they moved away, but we are really glad they come back to visit.

JD was having so much fun!

Jackson and Alexa gave each other big hugs before the Zeebs had to leave. They are so cute!!!

Jackson gets a haircut at home!

After paying $17.95 for a haircut for Jackson we decided that we must be smart enough to cut his hair ourselves. So, we bought clippers and went to town. It has turned out to be pretty easy. Every so often we have Jackson strip down and sit in one of his chairs so I can give him a trim.

Trick or Treat

This year we took Jackson trick or treating for the first time. He loved it! He said to us, "I want to go Halloweening tonight Mommy and Daddy!" It was a great night. Short and sweet all around.
