Braden Starts to Jump

Jackson loved his jumpy seat and it seems Braden will follow in his big brother's path. He is really starting to enjoy hanging out and jumping away. His jumps are small so far, but still fun to watch!

Jumping to the music.

A sweet smile for Mommy and the camera.

Playing with the toys.

A serious stare for the camera.

Making Rainbows with the Big Squirt Gun

Grammy Dotti has a power washer and thought it would be a good idea to wash off the outside furniture and toys before the rain comes. Jackson was in heaven playing with the giant squirt gun. He was entertained for a good hour in the backyard spraying everything off. He made rainbows and shot water in the sky like a pro.

Pumpkin Cookies and Jack O' Lanturns

Early this week and over the weekend we made sugar cookies and carved our family pumpkin. Both were great fun and interesting for Jackson.

Jackson squeezing Grammy in a super tight hug during the pumpkin carving session.

Braden hung out and watched all the action.

The whole family with our Jack O' Lantern.

Jackson checking out the inside of our pumpkin.

Who knew you could make friends with a Jack O' Lantern.

Braden looks pretty jealous he isn't part of the action here.

Daddy and Jackson drawing out the face of the pumpkin.

Scooping out the pumpkin guts.

Getting the pumpkin nice and clean on the inside.

Cutting the top of the pumpkin off.

Frosting cookies to share, but mostly just to eat.

Such concentration and artistry at work!

Showing Braden just how big our pumpkin is.

Our pumpkin is so big and I am so strong!!!

An Afternoon at the Park in October

While Uncle David and Daddy worked at the house putting in more new windows, Grammy, Jackson, Braden, and Mommy went to the park. The weather has been so beautiful lately that we wanted to enjoy every moment of sunshine.

Jackson and Mommy peeking through the bushes on the trail that is a shortcut to the park.

The big blue swing is fun for Jackson.

Jackson likes to slide down the hill on his bottom, he is such a funny boy.

Grammy and Braden watching all the action.

Jackson climbing the net to slide down the big slide.

Jackson rides the horse at the park with great abandon.

Help From Uncle David!!!

Last weekend my Uncle David came to help us with the windows. We never would have finished getting them in place without him! Here are a few shots of David and Shaun hard at work.

New Windows at the Sanders' House

Last weekend we started replacing all of the windows in our house. We started out hoping we would get 3 windows done. There were moments throughout the weekend we were sure that was impossible, but ended up with 4 replaced windows. We only have 5 more to go, so here's hoping the weather holds through this next weekend!

Our old windows leaning against the tree in the front yard.

There is a hole in our house!

Pretty new windows waiting in the garage.

This was the first window replaced. This is the kitchen window. We just have to trim it inside and out and then it will be totally complete!

Pumpkin Patch 2008

We went to the pumpkin patch this year and had a great time looking at pumpkins, seeing animals at the petting zoo, and riding the train.

Jackson and Grammy checking out the pumpkins.

Yes, I am bigger than the pumpkins!

This is a baby lion...the pumpkin patch we went to is also an animal rescue, so they had many exotic animals on site. Jackson loved the tiger too, but it was too big to come out of the cage. The lion cub was small enough to walk around on a leash, and played just like a kitten.

We took a ride on the train around the farm.

Jackson is talking to the goats here, I am not sure what he was saying, but he had no fear of the animals.

Grammy showing off a soft bunny for hugs.

Jackson in with the baby pigs.

Another family shot on the train.

One parting shot of our little ham. He loves the camera and has just started to pose and be silly. A moment after this he asked to see the picture on the camera.

The Next Big Time Golfer!?!

Jackson has acquired his daddy's love of golf and just can't get enough. Whenever we go out to Grammy Claudia's house on the golf course Jackson and Daddy take their clubs for a little practice time.

Putting like a pro.

A little chip shot around the green. Jackson is still learning club selection.

Daddy to him to swing away and aim for the pin. Look at that follow through!

Another shot toward the pin. Daddy keeps a close watch and is already helping Jackson develop his skills. I can just see them walking down the fairway together someday. They will both be in heaven!
