Naughty Little Monkey
Dishwashers are for climbing and sitting, right?! Well Braden certainly thinks so. I am not sure we will allow this once the new dishwasher is in, but then that would mean we are in control of these things, which we all know is not really the case.
Sword Fight!
I am certain I am not the kind of mother who would whip out the camera and capture her boys sword fighting while standing on the couch! I am certain I told them to get down right after these pictures were taken, because that would have been the responsible thing to do! Forgive me, I often get caught up in the hilarity of their relationship and forget that I am supposed to tell them not to get hurt...but boy did they have fun!
Babysitting Ben
One of my coworkers, Elizabeth, uses the same babysitter for her son Ben that we use for Jackson and Braden. Elizabeth and I have become friends through our work together, and recently we babysat Ben so she and her husband Brian could have their first date since Ben was born. We had so much fun, and got to try out having three...no announcements being made, but we did think it was pretty doable! :)
Swimming Lessons
Six weeks before our big trip to Mexico, Jackson took swimming lessons. They weren't really for learning to swim as much as getting comfortable with the water, but he loved it! There were only three little boys in the class, so they got lots of attention and practice. Jackson had so much fun, and it was the perfect way to get ready for Mexico!

Christmas 2009
We had a wonderful Christmas this year and enjoyed the wonder and magic that comes along with having two little ones. Here are a few shots from opening presents and discovering what Santa brought.
