Winter Wonderland

Here are some pics of the snow that has been around all this week. I will post new photos after the dump that came today. Jackson and Shaun had fun in the snow on Sunday while I was away with Braden.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

Jackson's favorite color is red, hence his first choice for a tree.

Even though Jackson wanted the tiny dead tree, he thinks the one we chose to take home is perfect.

Mommy, you need lip stuff too!

Jackson's lips have been chapped with the weather lately so we put lip stuff on before bed. He just had to help me out and put some on my lips too.

Where's Jackson?

Jackson and Braden are quickly becoming playmates. We love how creative Jackson is in his approach to play! We just had to capture these shots of him after he crawled into the bottom of the exersaucer Braden has grown to love.

Benny the Beaver and Santa

This year we went to see Benny the Beaver and Santa together downtown at an OSU alumni function. We had a great time playing games, making ornaments, and seeing Santa.

Jackson showing the OSU golf team how to putt. He made 6 putts throughout the party...no scholarship offers yet, but they were impressed.

Making ornaments for our tree.

If Jackson looks leery of Santa, believe it. He was willing to tell Santa what he wanted this year, but wanted nothing to do with touching him. He really just wanted the candy cane that Braden has in the picture. Braden didn't care at all, we will see how he feels about the guy in the red suit next year.

Braden was very intrigued with Benny the Beaver, but Jackson thought he was way too big in real life. Jackson loves to watch him from the stands at Beaver games, but thinks he is not that cool in person. I guess a big Beaver might scare me too.

Sleepy Boys

Lately the boys have been falling asleep in random places. They seem to just snuggle up and drift off. For Braden it is pretty normal, but for Jackson it rarely happens. Apparently none of us are immune to being tired.

My three boys crashed for the night.

I think Braden will sleep just about anywhere.

Braden is sitting up on the couch. He just turned his sweet head and drifted off to sleep.

OMSI November 2008

I won two tickets to OMSI at my company picnic this year, so over Thanksgiving weekend we decided to go with the boys and Grammy Dotti. We had a great time.

Jackson checking out a gigantic human ear.

Watching where the tube takes the yellow ball...

...and doing it again, and again, and again.

Braden and Grammy Dotti hanging out.

My sweet smiley Braden.

Jackson deep in thought.

Showing Grammy Dotti how to use the magnifying glass.

Sweet kisses with Daddy.

The water table was so much fun...Jackson ended up soaked, but loving every minute.

Thanksgiving Program at Preschool

This year was Jackson's first Thanksgiving performance at preschool. Grammy Dotti and Grammy Claudia took Braden to go watch. They sang songs with their cute turkey hats and then had soup together.
