This was probably ill advised, but everyone needs a little fun. I can still hear the giggles from Jackson and Braden while they jumped in Braden's crib. Some of my favorite moments and pictures come from those everyday moments that make life seem so full!

Do you hear the ice cream truck?

This summer we have discovered an ice cream truck in our neighborhood. We hear it driving around, but have never captured it when we were out in the front yard. The other day we finally got lucky and timed it just right.

The waves are coming...

One of our favorite games at the beach was to let the waves chase us. We had so much fun, until one caught Jackson, threw him down and doused him head to toe. The last picture in the series is Jackson in my jacket because he was so cold after "going swimming" int he ocean!

S'mores Around the Fire Pit

The beach was a little windy so we used the fire pit to make s'mores at the beach.

Sometimes You Just Have to Climb Into the Dishwasher!

It appears we will have a climber this time around! Jackson was tricky about climbing into the dishwasher, but he never progressed much past that. Braden has already moved on to chairs and table tops!

Beach Art

The Manzanita Community Center was running fun art projects downtown while we were at the coast and Jackson just had to do a little painting. He doesn't love messy hands, but had fun making a picture out of his hand prints!

A Weekend at the Beach...Playing in the Sand!

At the end of July we went to the Beach for a long weekend. Jackson couldn't remember the last time we were at the beach and this was Braden's first experience. It was beautiful and we had a blast. We will start the pictures with playtime in the sand.

2009 Willamette Old Fashioned Parade

My mom and I recently took the boys to watch the old fashioned parade in Willamette. We had a great time. Here are a few shots of us taking in the parade. Braden was mesmerized and Jackson was thrilled to see a real fire truck. Even better was the candy that all the floats were tossing to the kids. Jackson got a bag and filled it right up. It was a great morning of fun!

A Little Rock Band Anyone?

We have the makings of a rock band at our house. Jackson on guitar, Braden on drums...watch out for the next big thing! :)
