Another Silly Day with the Sanders

Jackson has such a funny sense of humor and he loves to play it up for the camera. Here are a few shots of my silly boy.

Really cheesy grin!

A beanie and a tongue, what more do you need?

Silly smiles with his hands are Jackson's favorite funny pose.

Snuggle time with Daddy is the best.

My three boys!

Jackson recently decided he wanted to take the pictures instead of be in the pictures. Here are his first two solo shots of his family. He may have had a bit of help, but mostly he took these.

Up close with Mommy.

Jackson is a Dancing Machine

Several months ago Jackson really started to enjoy dancing. There are a number of dance contest shows that we like to watch, and he has picked up quite a few moves. Here is a video clip of Jackson dancing. You will notice there is a slow motion section in the middle and then he gets back up to speed. I still laugh out loud every time I watch this video! I love our sweet boy!

Some shots of our little Beaver fan in the making...

Braden says, "Go Beavs!!!"

Jackson's First Day of Preschool

Last week Jackson started preschool. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital, and now here it is three years later and he is off to school!

Jackson with his lunch box. He takes a snack to school with him.

Jackson and Mommy on the front porch before going to school.

Jackson's first painting at school.

When Jackson came home from school after his first day by himself he said to me, "Mommy, I need help with my homework." I almost cried. Here we are cutting out the person that he would decorate to describe himself.

One more shot of cutting. Jackson is getting the hang of using scissors, but still would rather have one of us help him. At least he still needs me now, even if it seems like he is so grown up already! :)

Mariner's Baseball Game

Papa, Uncle Pard, Daddy and Jackson rode the train to see a Mariner's baseball game a few weeks ago. The Mariners played the Yankees and won for once. It was a great day for all. Here are a few pictures of the big adventure.

What Jackson was missing during his nap. He caught up later in the game.

Jackson Hamming it up for the camera!

Jackson is such a sweet boy and we have had so much fun this summer. He is always willing to give me a smile when I point a camera in his direction. Here are a couple of pool shots and some shots of Jackson playing run away from Mommy taking my picture. We had such a good time laughing it up as he ran laps around the living room trying to escape my picture taking!

Sunriver Family Trip

We took at short four day trip to Sunriver to visit Uncle David, Auntie Berta and Uncle Jerry at the end of August. They have access to a great pool and we had a wonderful time playing.

Jackson is telling Daddy where he needs to stand so he can catch Jackson when he jumps off the edge of the pool.

And here is the big jump!

Big smiles and waves after showing off for Mommy and the camera.

Jackson and Grammy had fun throwing rocks in the river. They were trying to skip the rocks like Daddy, but mostly just made big splashes!

Jackson throwing his rocks really far.

Jackson being silly for the camera.

More silly time with Mr. Jackson.

Jackson and Braden with Uncle Jerry, Auntie Berta and Uncle David.

Jackson put his Binky in this bear's mouth to keep it safe and share with the bear.

Papa Stephen and Shaun on the golf course, of course they found time to play during the weekend!

A Visit With Uncle Scott, Aunt Mimi and Cousin Mia

In the middle of August my brother, his wife and their daughter came to visit for a family wedding. We got to spend a quick but full weekend together and the kiddos loved every minute.

Mia and Jackson playing the xylophone together.

Mia was very interested in Braden. She just kept talking to him while he was in his bouncy seat.

Jackson and Mia swimming together at Great Grammy Dot's pool.

More pool time fun!

Jackson was quite the pool cleaner, he showed Mia Grammy Dot and Grammy Claudia how to clean.

My Sweet Boys!

Jackson loves to play with Braden. He likes to crawl in right next to Braden when Braden is in his bouncy seat. It is just too cute!

Another shot of my boys. Braden is already fascinated by Jackson. I think it will be a life long pastime between brothers!

Here is one of Braden's first smiles caught on film. It is a little blurry, but too cute not to post!
